This role requires a deep understanding of insurance business and the ability to effectively communicate with both onshore and offshore resources in the development of high-quality software solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, deploy APIs that ensure Chubb's compliance with industry regulations.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop web-based applications and APIs using Java, Spring boot technologies.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrations between web-based applications/APIs and other systems using APIs and Service Oriented Architecture.\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand compliance requirements and translate them into functional software specifications.\n\nConduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure adherence to software development best practices and quality standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the compliance reporting tools, providing efficient and effective solutions.\n\nStay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to insurance compliance reporting and propose improvements to existing processes and systems.\n\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the software development team.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n6-12 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on Java technologies.\nStrong technical skills in Java, Camel, Spring Boot are a MUST.
