Your leadership will be instrumental in setting engineering best practices, driving innovation, and ensuring that our technology landscape remains modern, secure, and aligned with business objectives.\nIn this role, you will:\nAct as a hands-on engineer by planning, designing, and implementing new software applications\nMaintain and enhance existing applications to ensure ongoing reliability and performance\nParticipate in issue triaging, resolution, and release deployment\nCollaborate with architects, developers, and QA to maximize automation opportunities\nPartner with security and infrastructure teams to remediate vulnerabilities and address end-of-life software/hardware\nDrive Agile story refinement, estimation, and delivery to ensure project success\nDefine and estimate project/program scope for accurate planning\nProvide technical leadership throughout the design process, guiding and mentoring junior engineers to foster growth and leading consulting teams to deliver high quality solutions\n 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering/architecture, data analysis and management within the insurance and/or finance industry\nPrimary engineering experience within the Microsoft stack (.NET Framework/Core, C#, VB, ASP.NET, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS)\nBachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline\nExperience in digital security and privacy practices\nStrong analytical and communication skills\n Preferred skills include knowledge of / experience with many/most of the following:Java stack: Java, Spring Frameworks, JVM internals, Junit, JavaScript\nMicroservice architecture\nAngular framework\nMVC, Web services, API, REST\nKafka, MQ\nGit, TFS, DevOps tools\n\nThe pay range for the role is $150,000 to $160,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
