This role partners closely with managers, employees, HR, and other stakeholders across a matrixed organization to design, deliver, and improve learning solutions that support business needs.\nThis position requires a strong mix of talent development expertise, learning design, program implementation, communication, and the ability to market learning initiatives effectively. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities.\nKEY FOCUS AREAS\nSupport Chubb Benefits and broader Chubb priorities through talent and learning initiatives.\n\nServe as a primary contact for multiple internal teams in a matrixed environment.\n\nBring expertise in talent development, learning design, program implementation, communication, and learning initiative promotion.\n\nUse strong project management, time management, relationship management, and problem-solving/critical thinking skills.\n\nApply intermediate to advanced Excel and Power BI skills, AI literacy, and the ability to interpret raw data for senior leadership.\n\nBe detail-oriented, strategic, curious, and able to quickly learn complex business processes and systems.\n\nThis role supports Chubb Benefits / Chubb priorities by leading key talent and learning and development initiatives.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and implement talent development programs that build employee skills and capabilities.\n\nCreate an engaging environment that supports employee growth and retention.\n\nPartner with stakeholders to design and deliver online and blended learning programs.\n\nServe as content and program owner for learning initiatives.\n\nDevelop content independently or with Instructional Design and external vendors.\n\nPartner with the LMS Administrator to build workshops and curricula.\n\nSchedule and deliver training, and coordinate delivery as needed.\n\nUpdate materials, gather SME feedback, and monitor usage and adoption.\n\nRecommend learning approaches based on research and feedback.\n\nAnalyze learning effectiveness and share recommendations for improvement.\n\nManage project timelines, dependencies, and risks in an agile environment.\n\nBuild strong relationships across all levels and functions.\n\nCommunicate clearly through writing, presentations, and solution-focused communication.\n\nWork under deadlines, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results.\n\nApply strong analytical and problem-solving/critical thinking skills.\n\nQuickly analyze information, develop curriculum outlines, and draft training content.\n\nDeliver virtual programs through platforms such as WebEx.\n\nUse Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and Power BI.\n\nFollow content approval processes, including SME and Legal review.\n\nFacilitate in-person programs as needed.\n\nSome travel may be required, up to 25%.\n\nPREFERRED EDUCATION and Skills\nBS/BA degree (or equivalent experience/certifications) in Human Resource Development, Instructional Design, Learning and Development, Training and Development or related field preferred.\n\nTalent Development/Management and/or program design experience: conduct needs analysis, create PowerPoint presentations for live and virtual training, using eLearning software, and writing job aids/user manuals.\n\nLeadership coaching (Hogan, Korn Ferry, etc.) or similar.\n\nExperience with self-assessments (not limited to Hogan, Korn Ferry, etc.) or similar.\n\nExperience with Employee Engagement Surveys and platforms (i.e., Medallia).\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE\nMS degree in Learning and Organizational Change, Adult learning strategies, including online learning and rapid design principles.\n\nDemonstrated ability to design learning solutions for eLearning and live virtual instructor-led experiences.\n\nProject and vendor management.\n\nWorking in B2B, Group and Broker insurance as a plus.\n\nInsurance, Sales, Operations, Call Center, Insurance Claims Departments or Leadership Development, a plus.\n\nLocation: Primary location Chicago, IL (near Rosemont, IL Triangle Plaza) or Columbia, SC, Chattanooga, TN, Portland, ME\nIn-Office Expectation: 4 days in office, 1 day remote.\nThe pay range for the role is $85,000 to $100,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
