As an Assistant Manager, you’ll help lead a team committed to making sure “every guest leaves happy.” It’s a high-energy, high-reward opportunity - ready and waiting for you.\nJob Responsibilities:\nMake daily decisions that involve time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness and upholding product and guest service standards.\n\nBuild sales and maximize profits by effectively recruiting, training, developingand motivating your team to meet company and guest expectations.\n\nCoachand inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service and ensure a safe, clean, and run environment.\n\nUnderstand cost control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor management.\n\nTake ownership of an Area of Impact “AOI” in one of four areasand over time, complete a rotation in each of the following areas:\n\nThe Kitchen- manage product ordering, food safety, scheduling, and cleanliness. Oversee pizza dough preparation from scratch, cook pizza and other Chuck E. menu items.\n\nSales- with oversight over the Cashier, Salad Bar and Gift Shop.This includes monitoring Sales results (including upselling and suggestive selling programs). Inventory, ordering, executionand profitability management of the Merchandise area. And quality assurance of the Salad Bar and prep procedures.\n\nShowroom- lead birthday party execution and planning. Maximize party bookings and guest satisfaction while optimizingshowroom seating.\n\nGameroom- partner with the Technical Manager to keep games and restaurant equipment in top conditionwith minimal down time. Analyzegame playdata and ticket payoutswhile keeping the gameroomand surrounding areas clean and guest ready.\n\nSkills We’re Looking For:\nCoaching and Developing Others\n\nEffective Communication\n\nComposure\n\nResourcefulness\n\nDemonstrates Ethics and Integrity\n\nTime and Priority Management\n\n Minimum Qualifications:\nMust be able to work 40 hoursa week\n\nMust have a high-school diploma or GED\n\nMust be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permittedby local law for selling, ringing up, checking identificationand serving alcohol)\n\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience managing people, preferably in the food service industry OR experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six (6) months\n\nEssential Job Functions and Work Environment:\nMust be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.\n\nMust be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift.\n\nThe work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noise, as well as exposure to non-weather related wet, humid, extreme heat and extreme cold conditions\n\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nAt Chuck E Cheese, we care about the safety and health of our guests and employees.
