The role will be responsible for being at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across Church & Dwight.\n\nAbout the Role\nThe Associate Data Scientist will collaborate with diverse business units to understand their unique challenges and opportunities, leveraging data science and advanced analytics to deliver impactful solutions.\nWork Environment\nHybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Ewing, NJ, and requires in-person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.\nRole Accountabilities and Responsibilities\nInsight Generation\nUtilize predictive modeling, data mining, and advanced analytics techniques to uncover meaningful patterns and trends within our vast data sets.\nCollaborative Consulting\nPartner with various business units to understand their needs, gather user requirements, and translate them into data products and solutions.\nActionable Outcomes\nDeliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform business strategies and drive operational improvements.\nData Storytelling\nCommunicate complex analytical findings in a compelling and easily understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring insights lead to informed decision-making.\nContinuous Improvement\nStay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies to continuously enhance our analytic capabilities.\nSkills and Competencies\nAnalytical Expertise\nStrong foundation in data science methodologies, including predictive modeling, data mining, and machine learning.\nBusiness Acumen\nAbility to translate technical results into business context and provide actionable recommendations.\nCollaboration Skills\nExcellent interpersonal skills with a knack for building relationships and influencing stakeholders across various functions.\nProblem-Solving Mindset\nProactive approach to identifying opportunities and challenges, with the creativity to develop innovative solutions\nEducation and Experience\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree (BS) with 2 or more years of experience is acceptable\nExperience with programming and data query languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and data visualization tools(e.g., Tableau, Power BI).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster’s degree in a quantitative discipline is preferred\nAgentic AI development experience is preferred\n\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $59,400-$84,500. This position is also eligible for a bonus.\nAs a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. You are also able to participate in our 401k retirement plan (with company match and profit-sharing) and Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan.\nThe actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity.
