While we might not be the largest company in our industry, we believe we can have the biggest impact because: Together We Have the Power to Win.\nABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:\nContinuous Improvement Supervisor\nThe hourly wage / salary range for this position is $81,700 - $122,600\nMonday - Friday \nCome join our Victorville, CA facility where we manufacture A&H Laundry Detergent and A&H Cat Litter!\nROLE SUMMARY:\nThe CI Supervisor is responsible for identifying and improving the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost, and increase customer satisfaction. He/she also increases the critical mass of Lean practitioners at the site.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for promoting a safety culture and safety awareness within their area of responsibility. Support and enforce all plant safety policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Responsible for all job-related safety training for their work team.\nImplement and integrate the management systems that improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) through leveraging Gemba walks, 5S / visual management, Lean Daily Management, and improvement methodologies.\nAligns Kaizen's work with the Lean Steering Committee, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and that the Kaizen Project Prioritization / Management process is adhered to.\nFacilitates / Leads Kaizen events required to improve performance- identify team members, prepare agendas, conduct training, creates and tracks countermeasures and actions. Fosters employee culture of learning organization. Develop capabilities in our workforce to run their own Kaizens\nOrganize and analyze data sets that outline systematic improvement opportunities and cost analysis to determine project feasibility.\nRun assessments to understand progress on the implementation of the iOpex program and define actions for improvement.\nFairly and consistently adhere to all Company and Plant procedures, work rules and guidelines.\nPerforms other related duties as required and assigned.\nFamiliar with the plant food safety program and basic HACCP principles.\nMINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s degree required.\nSupervisory experience or, in lieu of supervisory experience, demonstrated experience leading projects and/or coordinating the work of others (minimum of 2 years).\n1-3 years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.\n1-3 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Lean, and/or Continuous Improvement.\nPREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\n3-5 years of Lean/Continuous Improvement Experience preferred.\n3-5 years previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced, regulatory manufacturing environment such as CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), food or pharmaceuticals preferred.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nExcellent interpersonal skills - ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization to understand and help address operational issues and sustainability efforts.\nExcellent communications skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media - verbal, written, etc. to all levels of the organization.\nExcellent organizational/time management skills.\nStrong Functional/Technical Skills - ability to observe processes and develop dialogue with process owners to make improvements.\nTraining in Lean manufacturing principles and Kaizen facilitation\nStrong leadership abilities and skills as a team builder, coach, and mentor.\nStrong computer skills (SAP and MS Office Suite).\nTravel as required from time to time by the business.\nAbility to maintain absolute confidentiality at all times and in all situations.\nStrong problem-solving background\nWhat we’ll offer:\nCompetitive salary including annual bonus & Stock Incentive Program\nComprehensive benefits package along with generous 401K\nCareer ownership & development\nDiversity & Sustainability\nChurch & Dwight Co.
