While we might not be the largest company in our industry, we believe we can have the biggest impact because: Together We Have the Power to Win.\nJob Description\nABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:\nWarehouse Operator - C Shift\nMonday - Friday 09:30pm - 06:00am\nThe hourly wage for this position is $26.71, plus $1.00/hour shift dif.\nCome join our York, PA facility where we manufacture and distribute products such as A&H Cat Litter, and A&H Laundry Detergent!\nROLE SUMMARY:\nThis position will be responsible for performing all warehouse functions within our high volume, fast-paced distribution center including the palletizing and shipment of manufactured finished goods and the case pick, full pallet pick and loading of all outbound orders.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*denotes essential job functions):\nResponsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.\n\nEnsure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments according to schedule in terms of correct SKU and quantity versus bills of lading.\n\nAssist with inventory management, including cycle counts, physical inventories, etc. for package materials and finished goods.\n\nSafe operation of all material handling equipment, including stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.\n\nUtilization of computerized WMS (warehouse management system) for all assigned work.\n\nSingle case pick utilizing voice-to-pick software system.\n\nEnsure that case picked pallets are stacked in such a manner that the consignee can obtain an accurate count of product upon receipt of the order.\n\nEnsure that product is unitized per CHD packaging specifications.\n\nVerify lot codes of assigned product, including proper documentation and record keeping.\n\nEnsure that orders are loaded according to standard loading and weight patterns minimizing any damage to product.\n\nEnsure that pallets are properly labeled per customer requirements.\n\nAssist with the training and certification program as needed.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nMINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\n\nSix (6) months forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.\n\nPREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nPreferred experience with standup forklift in a warehouse environment.\n\nPrevious experience with WMS preferred.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nStrong interpersonal skills - ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.\n\nStrong communications skills - ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media - verbal, written, etc.\n\nMust have ability to communicate clearly in English - verbal and written.\n\nStrong organizational/time management skills.\n\nREQUIRED TRAINING:\nCandidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period.\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nThe operations is not in a climate controlled environment. Candidates will be exposed to the seasonal temperature variations.
