production, quality and maintenance to assure a high quality, low cost finished product.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nResponsible for the safety, health, and well-being of employees.\nResponsible for daily operations; providing leadership, focus and direction to the operations team.\nResponsible for creation, successful launches and sustained implementation of new programs\nLead daily production meetings.\nMaximize efficiency through the design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategies and allocation of assets and resources to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery, volume and production goals.\nDevelop and maintain department budgets.\nHelp lead the implementation of Lean problem-solving methodologies, Training Within Industry (TWI) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).\nUtilizes forecasts to develop, benchmark and implement an operation plan to ensure production requirements are met.\nProvides focus to business-critical issues that will have the biggest impact on plant performance.\nAllocate limited resources and place emphasis on the effective use of resources throughout the operation.\nAssures long term development and training of the line technicians and support team.\nCreate a flexible organization that can respond quickly to changes in product demand. \nProvide leadership in team effectiveness by sharing information and encouraging the participation of all team.\nmembers, building commitment to common goals and motivating team members, support continuous improvement.\nAssist in compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate policies, laws, and regulations\nOther duties as assigned.\nRegular and predictable attendance is required.\nEDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nMinimum Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Business, Logistics and Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or other related field.\nMinimum five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, environment along with 5+ years people leading experience.\nSupervisory experience is required.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nExcellent organizational/time management skills\nAbility to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization\nAbility to work for long periods of time, under pressure, to produce results\nStrong attention to detail\nAbility to operate a computer with knowledge of Windows\nRecord of successful goal setting, achievement, employee engagement, and management\nStrategic planner
