This role is responsible for leading multi-functional teams to successfully execute projects of various complexity by defining, planning, tracking and managing the key project deliverables.\nAbout the Role\nThe Project Manager is responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives. The role will also be responsible for Portfolio Management, working closely with the Senior Project Manager, ensuring the portfolio is updated and leading Portfolio Review/Prioritization meetings within R&D to review new projects and drive prioritization discussions as needed.\nThe Project Manager will also be working with the PMO Group Leader/Senior Project Manager to help support/facilitate PMO process/systems improvements.\nWork Environment\nHybrid: This is a hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ and requires in- person attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with remote work options on Mondays and Fridays.\nRole Accountabilities and Responsibilities\nManage a portfolio of projects, understanding not only the intricacies of each project but how they interact and where synergies lie\nUtilize PM tools to ensure appropriate key project documentation is prepared throughout project lifecycle (charters, business case, work orders, design input/output form, financial templates, etc.)\nUtilize the PM tools to prepare, track, and report on the project plan/status - get management approval\nCreate timelines for each project and drive deliverables to due dates to meet ship timing\nIdentify project resource needs & work with PM leadership to ensure projects are properly supported\nLead weekly multi-functional team meetings to address issues, discuss status updates and action items -clearly communicate agenda, action items and status of projects\nWork with multi-functional team to analyze risk and identify contingency plans. Review contingency plans with PM leadership\nInvolve functional expertise in design reviews and key decisions. Pull together the right information to help drive key project decisions\nIdentify and raise potential conflicts within the project. Report issues to PM leadership to help resolve and remove barriers\nManage changes to preserve business plan commitments. Initiate management reviews if objectives must change\nEnsure all team members understand their roles and accept their responsibilities\nConduct Lessons Learned and report out key findings. Apply key learnings to management of future projects\nKeep manager and all stakeholders informed of progress and issues\nProvide input to help continuously improve the effectiveness of the PMO\nAbility to adapt to shifting priorities and resources\nSkills and Competencies\nExcellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Word, etc)\nExperience successfully handling a portfolio of projects\nExperience leading multi-functional team in a matrix organization\nExcellent communication skills (oral and written) with experience presenting to Sr. Management\nDemonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities\nExceptional troubleshooting and problem resolution skills\nCritical thinking and decision making skills\nProject Management skills (MS Project, Gantt charts, cross-functional leadership).\nFamiliarity with a Stage and Gate product development process preferred.\nExperience with FDA regulated products preferred or cGMP\nPlant or Manufacturing Experience preferred\nEducation and Experience\nRequired Qualifications:\nBA/BS Degree (science preferred, but not required) from an accredited institution\n8+ years CPG industry experience (preferably R&D, Operations or Engineering) within project management\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOTC or regulated product categories experience plus.\nPMP certified preferred but not required\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $106,400- $151,400. This position is also eligible for a bonus.\nAs a Church & Dwight US employee, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid vacation and sick time, and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date.
