This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both the analytical and microbiology laboratories, as well as with the incoming component inspection team. You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the quality assurance of our products.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalytical Testing: Conduct analyses of raw materials, bulk, and finished products using techniques such as Gas Chromatography, Infra-Red, Karl Fischer, and Viscometers.\nMicrobiological Testing: Perform microbiological analysis of finished products and water samples.\nComponent Inspection: Inspect and release incoming components to ensure compliance with quality standards.\nEquipment Maintenance: Check, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.\nCustomer Complaint Support: Assist in investigations related to customer complaints to identify and resolve quality issues.\nProduction Support: Collaborate with the production team to address investigations and queries.\nR&D Collaboration: Support Research and Development with stability testing and investigations.\nLab Supplies Management: Manage the ordering of chemicals and supplies for the laboratory.\nLab Maintenance: Ensure the laboratory is kept tidy and organized.\nCross-Departmental Exposure: Participate in project meetings and discussions with various departments across the business.\nQualifications and Skills:\nCurrent undergraduate or postgraduate in a Scientific subject.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated \"can do\" attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nCurious and inquisitive mindset.\nProficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nSpecial Requirements:\nAs part of the Quality & Regulatory team, you will work closely with the QC Manager, Microbiology Manager, and QA Packaging Supervisor.
