The role offers significant visibility across Finance, Corporate Development, HR, and Operations, providing an excellent opportunity to broaden your experience and accelerate your career.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO:\nPrepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers across multiple legal entities.\nLead key aspects of the month-end and quarter-end close process, ensuring financial results are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.\nAnalyze financial results, investigate variances, and provide meaningful insights to management.\nPrepare quarterly investor reporting packages, including share price calculations, distributions, and other shareholder-related metrics.\nMaintain financial models and supporting schedules used for shareholder reporting and governance purposes.\nPartner with Corporate Development and business leaders to support acquisition, valuation, and integration activities.\nCalculate and validate share issuance and repurchase amounts related to acquisition and rollover transactions.\nSupport internal and external audits and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of accounting policies, controls, and processes.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting effectiveness.\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING:\nCPA designation completed or nearing completion preferred.\n3-6 years of progressive accounting, finance, or public accounting experience.\nStrong technical accounting and financial reporting foundation.\nAdvanced Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex financial models and large datasets.\nProven ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and consistently meet deadlines.\nExperience within wealth management, asset management, investment management, private equity, or other financial services organizations.\nExposure to acquisitions, valuations, corporate transactions, or transaction-related accounting.\nExperience supporting audits, regulatory reviews, and IFRS financial reporting.\nNaturally curious and interested in understanding the economics behind business and investment transactions.\nSeeks exposure beyond traditional accounting and enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business.\nTakes ownership, demonstrates initiative, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communicator with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.\nAmbitious, career-driven, and motivated to take on increasing levels of responsibility.\nThis role follows our in office work model and requires employees to be onsite four days per week to support collaboration and business needs.\nThis opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
