The Project Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives that support CI GAM's priorities and operational objectives.The successful candidate will manage projects through all phases of the delivery lifecycle, from intake and planning through execution, implementation, and close-out. This role requires strong project leadership, stakeholder management, risk identification, governance oversight, and the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.\nWorking closely with Program Managers, business sponsors, IT leaders, and cross-functional teams, the Project Manager will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic business goals. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently drive projects forward while maintaining strong governance and communication practices.\nWHAT YOU WILL DO\nLead medium to large-scale business and technology projects from initiation through implementation and closure.\nDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, dependencies, and RAID logs to ensure successful delivery.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to achieve project objectives.\nFacilitate project meetings, steering committees, and governance forums while providing clear status reporting and executive communications. \nBuild strong stakeholder relationships, drive alignment, and support timely decision-making across competing priorities.\nProactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, recommending practical solutions when required.\nEnsure compliance with PMO governance standards, delivery frameworks, and project management best practices.\nPartner with Program Managers to support project intake, integrated planning, prioritisation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO.\nWHAT YOU WILL BRING\nUniversity degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Project Management, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of progressive project management experience delivering cross-functional business and technology initiatives.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within a structured delivery environment.\nStrong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.\nProven ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.\nExperience working with senior business leaders and technology teams.\nExcellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship management skills.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.\nExperience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office applications.\nPMP certification or equivalent project management certification is considered an asset.\nThis opportunity is for an existing vacancy with the company. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $69,500 - $119,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a bonus program.
