[Job-30230] Senior Product Owner (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Product Owner to join a cross-functional Agile team working on complex, large-scale digital products within a global environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring priorities are clear, requirements are well understood, and the team remains focused on delivering the highest-value outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and continuously prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and product objectives.

• Translate business needs and product goals into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Work closely with Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Scrum Masters, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.

• Facilitate backlog refinement and ensure stories are sufficiently understood and prepared before development begins.

• Make day-to-day prioritization decisions and provide clarity when requirements, priorities, or business expectations change.

• Act as a key point of contact between the development team and business/product stakeholders.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Manage dependencies, risks, and competing priorities across teams and stakeholders.

• Partner with engineering to understand technical constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs when making product decisions.

• Maintain visibility of delivery progress and communicate risks, changes, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's product and delivery practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Product Owner in Agile software development environments.

• Strong experience with backlog management, prioritization, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable work for engineering teams.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to navigate different priorities and expectations.

• Confidence working directly with technical teams and discussing requirements, dependencies, and trade-offs.

• Strong decision-making skills and a high level of ownership.

• Experience working with distributed or global teams.

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and the software development lifecycle.

• Advanced English with strong conversational skills, as the role requires frequent interaction with international stakeholders.

• Availability to work in a hybrid model in São Paulo, Brazil.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in SAFe or other scaled Agile environments.

• Previous experience with products in payments, financial services, fintech, or other complex transactional environments.

• Experience working with multiple squads or managing cross-team dependencies.

• Familiarity with highly regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
