core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nTesting Coordination and Execution: \nDevelop, publish, and execute test plans, test cases, traceability matrices, automation scripts, virtualization, status reports, and defect and exit reports.\nIdentify and obtain required test data and test environments.\nDevelop, publish, and execute testing estimates and manage financials related to testing activities.\nTrack and report QA/QE metrics and KPIs such as velocity and defect slippage.\n\nDefect and Compliance Management: \nManage defects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.\nIdentify, manage, and implement remediation for any noncompliance items and deviations.\nEnsure adherence to QA/QE standards and support the implementation of new standards.\nRecognize and identify areas for process, policy, or tool improvement.\n\nTechnical Leadership: \nProvide input, feedback, and challenge to technical designs and assess impacts to testing.\nIdentify and implement automation, AI, or other emerging solutions to expedite testing and improve quality.\nLead the adoption of automation frameworks and tools.\n\nCross-Functional Realtionship: \nCollaborates with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.\nWorks closely with development teams to provide feedback on technical designs and assess testing impacts.\nInteracts with external vendors and tool providers to evaluate and integrate testing solutions.\nPartners with other QA/QE professionals across the organization to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.\n\nAuthorities/Decision Rights: \nAs a key contributor to the business unit, this job has the authority to recommend changes to business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.\n\nJob Dimensions: \nResponsible for the delivery of testing services for assigned projects/initiatives, supporting retail banking, mobile, web-based, UX, API, and accessibility testing.\nProvides technical and process leadership to ensure quality standards are met.\nSupports achievement of business unit goals through effective quality engineering and testing practices.\n\nRequirements: \n5+ years QA/QE experience, 5+ years development/automation.\nWeb/mobile testing, UX, accessibility.\nExperience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, web services).\n\nMust-have skills: \nProficiency with UI automation tools like Playwright.\nExpertise in Java.\nWriting and executing automated UI test cases.\nVersion control (Git), CI/CD integration.\nTest management tools (JIRA, ALM).\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood to Have: \nAPI testing (REST/SOAP).\nMobile automation tools (Perfecto, Appium).\nExperience with Gen AI tools (GitHub Copilot).\nExperience with cross-browser/device testing.\nBDD/TDD practices.\nSkills\nautomated,
