As a Consultant Technical Analyst, you’ll lead complex initiatives to design strategic solutions aligned with CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. You’ll support end-to-end project delivery and act as a subject matter expert across both business and technology. Working closely with partners across the organization, you’ll help shape flexible, innovative solutions that improve processes and deliver a best-in-class client experience. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.\nHow You'll Succeed\nStrategic solution delivery - Lead complex projects and support end-to-end implementation of technology solutions that align with business objectives and CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap.\nBusiness and technical analysis - Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, while incorporating non-functional requirements and evaluating solution options.\nStakeholder collaboration - Partner effectively with business, technology, quality assurance, and vendor teams to drive alignment, influence decisions, and deliver quality outcomes.\nRisk and change management - Scope and estimate project effort, identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and complete change documentation in accordance with enterprise delivery framework standards.\nProblem solving and support - Research current-state systems, analyze complex issues, and help resolve production incidents reported by business and technology partners.\nVendor and partner management - Build strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders to support solution delivery and business case development.\nWho You Are\nYou have relevant experience. You bring at least 3 years of experience in a business systems consultant, technical analyst, or similar role leading projects and designing technology solutions. Experience with application development and/or architecture development is considered an asset.\nYou’re a strong communicator. You can clearly understand, interpret, and communicate information through both verbal discussion and written documentation. You know how to tailor your message for different audiences.\nYou’re skilled at facilitation and influence. You’re confident leading discussions, navigating competing priorities, and building consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.\nYou’re highly analytical. You enjoy investigating complex problems, assessing current-state environments, and using data and insights to recommend practical solutions.\nYou have the relevant educational foundation. You have a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.\nYou put clients first.
