This\nstrategic leadership role will drive operational excellence, productivity\nenhancement, Lean transformation and manufacturing performance improvement\nacross multiple sites and business units.\n\nReporting to the Chief\nOperations Officer, the successful candidate will lead a team of Industrial\nEngineers and Continuous Improvement specialists while partnering closely with\nOperations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Human Resources teams to\ndeliver sustainable business results.\n\nYOUR MISSION\n\nTo develop and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement and Operational\nExcellence across all manufacturing operations, ensuring the organization\nachieves world-class standards in productivity, quality, delivery, cost\ncompetitiveness and employee engagement.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nStrategic Leadership\n\n Develop and\n implement the Group Continuous Improvement strategy.\n\n Establish a\n multi-year roadmap for productivity improvement and operational\n excellence.\n\n Drive a\n culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing sites.\n\n Identify\n strategic opportunities to improve competitiveness, profitability and\n customer satisfaction.\n\n Act as a key\n advisor to senior management on operational performance and transformation\n initiatives.\n\nContinuous Improvement & Lean Transformation\n\n Lead the\n deployment of Lean Manufacturing methodologies across Fabric and Garment\n operations.\n\n Champion\n Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Management and\n Problem-Solving initiatives.\n\n Establish\n governance structures to monitor Continuous Improvement projects and\n benefits realization.\n\n Drive waste\n elimination and process optimization throughout the manufacturing value\n chain.\n\n Lead\n cross-functional improvement projects with measurable business impact.\n\nIndustrial Engineering Excellence\n\n Establish\n Industrial Engineering standards and best practices across all sites.\n\n Oversee time\n studies, work measurement, capacity planning and productivity improvement\n programs.\n\n Drive line\n balancing, workforce optimization and resource utilization initiatives.\n\n Lead factory\n layout optimization and material flow improvement projects.\n\n Support\n automation and digital transformation initiatives.\n\nManufacturing Performance Improvement\n\n Drive\n improvements in:\n Productivity\n\n Efficiency\n\n Quality\n\n Delivery Performance\n\n Cost\n Reduction\n\n Waste\n Reduction\n\n Capacity\n Utilization\n\n Develop and\n monitor key operational KPIs.\n\n Ensure\n performance improvement initiatives are aligned with business objectives.\n\n Support\n manufacturing teams in achieving operational excellence targets.\n\nTeam Leadership & Capability Building\n\n Lead, coach\n and develop the Industrial Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams\n across Mauritius and Madagascar.\n\n Build\n organizational capability in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement\n methodologies.\n\n Develop\n training programs and coaching initiatives for managers and supervisors.\n\n Foster a\n culture of accountability, innovation and problem-solving.\n\n Establish\n succession plans and talent development initiatives within the function.\n\nRegional Collaboration\n\n Promote\n sharing of best practices between Mauritius and Madagascar operations.\n\n Standardize\n processes, methodologies and performance measurement systems.\n\n Support new\n factory developments, expansions and strategic projects.\n\n Travel\n regularly between sites to provide leadership, coaching and project\n oversight.\n\nWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's\n Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations\n Management or related discipline.\n\n Master's\n Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration\n will be an advantage.\n\nExperience\n\n Minimum 10\n years' experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Excellence or\n Continuous Improvement.\n\n Minimum 5\n years in a senior leadership role.\n\n Proven\n experience leading Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence\n initiatives.\n\n Experience in\n textile, apparel or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.\n\n Experience\n
