This role will help us\nstreamline processes, introduce smart technologies and deliver measurable gains\nin productivity and quality.\nReporting to the\nHead of Continuous Improvement, the successful candidate will work closely with\nOperations, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, IT and Supply Chain teams to\ndeliver sustainable business results.\nYOUR MISSION\nOptimise\nmanufacturing processes and lead the adoption of digital and automated\nsolutions, ensuring the organisation achieves world-class standards in\nproductivity, quality, delivery, and cost competitiveness.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProcess\nEngineering & Improvement\n\n Analyse, map and document manufacturing\n processes across Fabric and Garment operations.\n\n Identify bottlenecks, waste and\n inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements.\n\n Develop and maintain process standards,\n procedures and best practices.\n\n Apply Lean tools such as Kaizen, Value\n Stream Mapping and Root Cause Analysis.\n\n Lead process improvement projects with\n measurable business impact.\n\n Support factory layout and material flow\n improvement projects.\n\nDigitalisation\n\n Identify and implement digital solutions\n to improve visibility, traceability and decision-making on the shop floor.\n\n Support the deployment of production\n monitoring, data collection and reporting systems.\n\n Build dashboards and reports to track\n KPIs and process performance in real time.\n\n Work with IT and system providers to\n integrate digital tools into existing processes.\n\n Promote data-driven decision-making\n across departments.\n\nAutomation\n\n Evaluate and recommend automation\n opportunities to improve productivity, quality and consistency.\n\n Support the specification, selection,\n installation and commissioning of automated equipment and systems.\n\n Prepare business cases and cost-benefit\n analyses for automation and digital projects.\n\n Work with Maintenance and suppliers to\n ensure smooth implementation and reliable operation.\n\n Support operators and supervisors in\n adopting new technologies and ways of working.\n\nProgress\nTracking & Performance\n\n Define and monitor KPIs for\n productivity, efficiency, quality, waste and capacity utilization.\n\n Track project progress, milestones and\n benefits realization, and report results to management.\n\n Ensure improvement initiatives are\n aligned with business objectives.\n\n Support manufacturing teams in achieving\n operational excellence targets.\n\nCollaboration\n& Knowledge Sharing\n\n Share best practices between Mauritius\n and Madagascar operations.\n\n Contribute to the standardization of\n processes and systems across sites.\n\n Support new factory developments,\n expansions and strategic projects.\n\n Travel occasionally between sites to\n support project implementation.\n\nWHAT\nARE WE LOOKING FOR?\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's Degree in Process,\n Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Manufacturing\n Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\n Master's Degree in Engineering or\n Operations Management will be an advantage.\n\n Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green\n Belt) will be an advantage.\n\nExperience\n\n Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in\n process engineering, manufacturing engineering or continuous improvement.\n\n Proven experience delivering process\n improvement, digitalisation or automation projects.\n\n Experience in textile, apparel or\n high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.\n\n Experience working with cross-functional\n teams.\n\nTechnical\nExpertise\n\n Process Mapping and Optimisation\n\n Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen\n\n Root Cause Analysis\n\n Automation and Industrial Control\n Systems\n\n Digital Manufacturing Tools (MES, ERP,\n IoT, production monitoring)\n\n Data Analytics and Dashboards (Power BI,\n Excel or similar)\n\n Project Management\n\n Technical Drawing and Layout Tools\n (AutoCAD or similar)\n\nPersonal\nCompetencies\n\n Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills\n\n Innovation and Technology Mindset\n\n Attention to Detail\n\n Initiative and Ownership\n\n Teamwork and Collaboration\n\n Communication and Presentation Skills\n\n Adaptability and Change Readiness\n\nLocation: Forest Side, Mauritius.\nWe welcome\napplications from all qualified individuals and are committed to creating an\ninclusive workplace.\n\nManagement\nreserves the right to call only the best candidates for an interview.
