Success in this role helps ensure reliable FPGA implementations that support Ciena’s innovation goals\nHow you will make an impact:\nLead chip-level verification activities for FPGA designs\nEstablish verification methodology, architecture, and infrastructure, including models, generators, monitors, and scoreboards.\nWork with the design team to establish test priorities and coverage targets\nCreate verification plans.\nCreate and execute test cases.\nTriage regressions, provide reports to the team, and drive bug resolution activities.\nCollaborate with peers and mentor junior verification engineers on verification methodologies and best practices\nThe must haves:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.\nExperience: 8+ years of experience as an FPGA/ASIC verification engineer.\nExperience developing testbench environments using SystemVerilog and UVM\nExperience with directed and constrained-random stimulus generation.\nProblem solving and debugging skills.\nApplication of standard interfaces including PCIe, I2C, and SPI\nExperience with Siemens Questa and Synopsys VCS verification tools\nWorking knowledge of PC and Unix/Linux operating systems\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment. \nExcellent interpersonal and team skills. \nHighly motivated and creative.\nWell organized, thorough, and detail oriented\nNice to haves:\nFamiliarity with OTN and Ethernet for data transport\nPay range: $103,700 - $165,700 CAD\nPay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
