This role drives project execution across the full delivery lifecycle while aligning customer commitments, operational objectives, and financial outcomes. Success in this position comes from coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project complexity, and delivering consistent customer results.\nHow you will make an impact:\nLead customer-facing service delivery projects across the full project lifecycle.\nCoordinate project scope, schedules, milestones, resources, and execution activities.\nImplement communication plans and provide project status updates, risk visibility, and resolution tracking.\nConduct risk assessments and execute mitigation plans throughout project delivery.\nChair customer and internal project meetings to communicate progress, issues, and delivery outcomes.\nMonitor project execution against scope, resource utilization, budget expectations, and delivery commitments.\nInterface with customers, engineering teams, sales, bid management, service delivery groups, partners, and finance teams to achieve project and business objectives.\nThe must haves:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.\nExperience: 3-5 years of experience in Service Delivery, Project Management, Service Coordination, or a relevant industry.\nUtilization of project management tools.\nApplication of network lifecycle activities including design, deployment, migration, and validation.\nBackground in optical transport and networking environments including DWDM and L0/L1 technologies.\nExperience interacting with customers, cross-functional delivery teams, and engineering resources.\nDemonstrated influencing and collaboration across multiple teams.\nNice to haves:\nCertifications: PRINCE2 certification preferred.\nCertifications: PMP certification preferred.\nApplication of effort estimation, cost drivers, and delivery risk evaluation.\nBackground contributing to commercially sound decisions during presales and delivery activities.\nExperience working in matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.\nOutstanding planning, scheduling, and coordination skills.\nOutstanding verbal and written communication skills.\nPay Range:\nThe salary range for this role, in the USA, is $79,900.00 -$ !27,700.00 USD.\nPay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.\nNon-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
