The engineer will work closely with software developers, requirement engineers and program managers throughout the product lifecycle. The testing engineer reviews requirement specifications and design documents, to understand the features and specifications for the efficient design of test cases to address the full spectrum of the requirements and quality. The automation testing engineers are expected to improve test productivity and system quality. In order to achieve this goal, automation testing engineers are responsible for designing and implementing highly efficient automation test infrastructure, as well as tools and test scripts to test the specific products and system automatically.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute black box test cases to validate basic functions of ADAS controllers.\nAutomate test cases using engineering test methodologies.\nMaintain & improve documentation during and after testing.\nTroubleshoot & investigate automated test and controller issues.\nAbility to anticipate problems & issues and recommend solutions to problems.\nPrepare test results and reports with the highest industry standard.\nAbility to modify calibration and/or test script to meet the validation requirement.\nAbility to use and develop test script and automation.\nAbility to use AI tools in testing activities.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills and Experiences:\nMinimum two years of embedded software testing and testing automation experience in Automotive domain.\nExperience with tools like Python and test automation methodologies.\nBeing able to write automation test scripts.\nExperience with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and test tools.\nExperience with Calibration and/or Validation Development.\nExperience in INCA/CANoe/ Vetor CANalyzer / Vspy.\nBeing able to troubleshoot controller test issues on HIL bench.\nExperience in a fast-moving environment and capable of meeting stringent deadlines.\nStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform test automation.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAptitude for learning and developing new skills as required.\nBe able to fit in team well and enjoys being a good team player. \nPreferred Skills and Experiences:\n5 years of embedded or controlled software testing experience.\nExperience on Automotive controller testing, CAN/Ethernet communication, diagnostic, and cybersecurity.\nRBS/Vector Canoe, ETAS & NeoVI familiarity.\nEducation and Training:\nBachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field.\nBenefits\n Extended group insurance including prescription drugs, dental and vision cares\n RRSP employer match\n 15 days annual vacation\n CIeNET offers equal opportunities to people.
