This role offers the opportunity to make a big impact on manufacturing efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery of products which are designed into high profile applications from around the world.\nThe Location: This position is based onsite in Torrance, California\nResponsibilities\nAs Manufacturing Process Engineer, key responsibilities include:\nImprove quality and efficiency within Operations and Manufacturing processes\nDevelop and improve manufacturing processes by creating work instructions, fixtures, and shop aids\nLead New Product Introduction (NPI), driving pilot builds of new products. Write reports and resolve issues to enable effective Production release\nLead and support implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles\nProvide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback to product design engineers\nIdentify and resolve product quality issues\nValidate and execute processes and engineering changes\nProvide technical training on NPI and changes to processes\nPartner and collaborate with other departments to increase quality and efficiency within Operations\nQualifications\nMust-Have:\nMinimum five years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer (or similar role) or Bachelor’s degree in\nManufacturing/Industrial Engineering (or related discipline)\nMinimum three years of experience in leading manufacturing process improvement projects\nFormal training and strong experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) or other problem-solving tools\nStrong experience in creating documentation for work instructions, procedures, and technical reports\nStrong experience in creating shop aids such as fixtures and visual aids\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and CI\nExperience in using CI tools such as Value Stream Maps, SPC, PFMEA, 5S\nExcellent communication skills; Ability to clearly and concisely explain technical and conceptual ideas\nEfficient knowledge of MS Office including Visio\nFamiliarity with SolidWorks, Creo, or other 3D modeling software\nAbility to travel within the U.S. and internationally for typically less than one week at a time\nMust be a U.S. person as Antcom is an ITAR-registered facility\nApplicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in ArmsRegulations (“ITAR”) or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) must be US Persons per ITAR §120.15and EAR §772.1 (i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or admitted to the U.S. as an asylee or refugee), orbe otherwise eligible to obtain required authorization from the U.S. Government to access controlledinformation.
