This position is based in Torrance, California.\nResponsibilities\nAs Senior Buyer, you will:\nLead Antcom new product introduction supply chain projects from concept through production, including supplier selection, target cost development, RFQs, qualification activities, and initial deliveries.\nCoordinate project activities with Engineering, Production, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Finance teams.\nIssue purchase orders through the MRP system and analyze purchasing requirements for assigned commodities and suppliers.\nLead new vendor onboarding activities and supplier transition projects.\nProvide leadership and guidance to purchasing team members.\nAnalyze and report purchase price variances and develop corrective action plans to achieve cost objectives.\nCoordinate and support supplier delivery performance improvement activities.\nAnalyze mid- and long-term shortages and lead resolution activities to protect customer deliveries and sales commitments.\nReview and update purchasing procedures and serve as the Supply Chain ISO representative for the site.\nMaintain MRP system health through purchase order alignment, quantity management, and schedule management.\nMonitor and respond to daily MRP actions including purchase orders, reschedules, cancellations, and overdue orders.\nProcess supplier-related return material authorizations and support supplier corrective action activities.\nMaintain ERP master data integrity, including lead times, supplier information records, minimum order quantities, and other purchasing parameters.\nAnalyze forecasted demand and develop long-term agreements and supply strategies with key suppliers.\nQualifications\nMust Have:\nBachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in supply chain purchasing or procurement.\nMinimum 1 year of team leadership or people management experience.\nStrong understanding of supply chain management concepts related to purchasing, logistics, incoming inspection, inventory control, BOM management, and item master setup.\nProven experience selecting and managing suppliers for new and existing products.\nStrong knowledge of SAP, MRP systems, and advanced Excel capabilities.\nExperience implementing supplier agreements, inventory programs, lead-time reduction initiatives, and long-term agreements.\nExperience working in an electronics manufacturing environment.\nMust be a U.S. Person as Antcom is an ITAR-registered facility.\nApplicants for select positions that require access to information controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) must be U.S. Persons per applicable regulations or otherwise eligible to obtain required authorization from the U.S. Government.\nKey Success Factors:\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform effectively in complex, fast-paced environments with changing priorities.\nStrong negotiation, influencing, and supplier relationship management capabilities.\nAbility to independently lead projects and drive results through cross-functional collaboration.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain and procurement data to support decision making.\nExcellent communication and organizational skills.\nDemonstrated leadership and ability to mentor and support team members.\nNice-to-Have:\nExperience in aerospace, defense, or military manufacturing environments.\nExperience supporting engineer-to-order or low-volume, high-mix production environments.\nProfessional supply chain certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.\nExperience leading supplier development and cost reduction initiatives.\nKnowledge of ISO requirements and quality management systems.\nExperience with new product introduction and supplier qualification processes.\nEOE/F/M/Vet/Disabled\nClick on the links below to learn more about Equal Employment Opportunity.
