This role will work closely with the industry experts in the group to do hands on investigation and testing of different technologies and ideas. Working with our experienced team of engineers you will gain valuable experience in sensor fusion positioning technologies.\nThe Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is worked on-site and is based in Calgary, AB.\nResponsibilities\nAs an Sensor Fusion - Defence Intern, responsibilities include:\nInvestigate and learn to use and integrate different sensors\nSetup tests, collect data, and assist in the analysis; this will include physical test setup and execution in test vehicles\nDevelop graphing or other analysis tools\nDevelop and test features in defence firmware\nWrite clear test reports and presentations\nQualifications\nMust-Have:\nRegistered in the Engineering Internship/Co-op program and have completed your 3rd year of studies by the start of your work term\nEnrolled inElectrical, Geomatics orComputer Engineering at an accredited post secondary institution\nAvailable for a minimum 12 month work term, 37.5 hours a week \nStrong academic credentials\nStrong communication skills, both oral and written\nStrong debugging and problem solving skills\nKey Success Factors:\nAble to work in a collaborative team environment\nConfident Self-starter\nDetail oriented and able to follow complex instructions with a “first-time right” attitude\nMotivated by challenging work\nComfortable working individually but know when to ask for help\nNice-to-Have:\nC++, Matlab, Python, or other scripting languages\nBasic GNSS understanding\nHands on experience using lab equipment, like oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and data logging programs\nNot sure if you meet all the qualifications for this role?
