To support our focus on delivering high quality products, we are looking for an enthusiastic internship student to add to our Software Infrastructure Team. This role offers you a chance to work hands-on alongside our DevOps and Tools Team, developing C++ / Python tools and automation, enabling our developer and test communities. This position is based onsite in Calgary, AB.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Software Engineering Intern, your responsibilities include:\nImplement tools and automation to enhance developer productivity (Python, Code coverage, Static Analysis, Docker)\nDevelop & Maintain automated and reusable system level pipelines and test (Python, Jenkins, GitLab)\nImplement dashboards based on existing datasets (Grafana, Elastic/Kibana stack, MongoDb)\nMonitor metrics and develop ways to improve\nUse GNSS simulation and emulation tools to develop repeatable automated tests (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Unit Test Framework, Record Playback Systems)\nDevelop & enhance technical documentation surrounding existing and new infrastructure\nQualifications\nMust-Have:\nEnrolled in Computer Science or Geomatics, Computer, Software Engineering at an accredited post secondary institution\nRegistered in the Computer Science or Engineering Internship/Co-op program and have completed at least your 2nd or 3rd year of studies by the start of your work term\nAvailable for a minimum 12 month work term, 37.5 hours a week \nStrong academic credentials\nStrong communication skills, both oral and written \nKey Success Factors:\nAble to work in a collaborative team environment\nConfident Self-starter\nDetail oriented person able to follow complex instructions with a “first-time right” attitude\nMotivated by challenging work\nYou are comfortable working individually but know when to ask for help\nNice-to-Have:\nInterest inSoftware development\nExperience with “DevOps” tooling, such as GIT, Elastic/Kibana stack, Docker, etc\nExperience with Microsoft Visual C++ in an embedded environment\nExperience with C++ and/or Python\nLinux experience\nKnowledge of GPS/GNSS/INS\nNot sure if you meet all the qualifications for this role?
