Reporting to the Team Lead, Software Test Infrastruture, you will design, develop and implement systems that meet user needs for general and customizable test platforms. This team responsible for maintaining, improving, and developing automated test infrastructure used in the verification and validation of software and hardware products. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand(s) NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.\nThe Location: This position is based in Calgary, AB.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Software Infrastructure Designer, you will:\nSupport, design, and develop all aspects of existing Jenkins/GitLab/Github based automated testing platforms.\nIdentify tools and implement processes that can automate manual tasks.\nIdentify and solve testing infrastructure problems.\nBuild new testing infrastructure to support expanding demand and capacity throughout the entire organization.\nDevelop dashboards to present data for various stakeholders.\nSupport, design and develop python packages that will be used as part of the infrastructure ecosystem.\nIdentify areas for improvement and design major refactor changes for existing infrastructure related python packages.\nQualifications\nMust-Have:\nB.Sc. in Computer Science or Engineering or similar relevant experience\nExpertise in Python\nExperience working with CI/CD systems such as GitLab, Jenkins and GitHub\nProven ability to create good user interfaces and API’s\nExperience with various software testing methodologies and problem solving\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nKey Success Factors:\nConfident Self-starter\nEnjoys debugging and problem solving\nProactively identify opportunities for improvement\nMotivated by challenging work\nYou are comfortable working individually but know when to ask for help\nNice-to-Have:\nExperience with various database technologies and integration\nUnderstanding existing test frameworks, strengths and weakness\nVirtual environments experience using like Pipenv, Poetry, uv\nGNSS Familiarity\nPortfolio (GitHub OR sample projects)\nNot sure if you meet all the qualifications for this role?
