You will join a highly motivated team and will be working on a modern solution for our existing client. We are looking for technology experts who want to make an impact on new business by applying best practices and taking ownership.\nResponsibilities:\nDefine performance test requirements and performance test strategy\nDesign, implement and execute performance test plans and scenarios using Gatling and k6\nDevelop and maintain load testing scripts for APIs, microservices, front-end and back-end systems\nExecute load, stress, volume, spike and endurance tests\nAnalyze system performance, identify bottlenecks and capacity issues, and recommend tuning strategies\nDefine and implement SLAs, performance benchmarks and KPIs for services\nIntegrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)\nMonitor and report performance metrics using Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB or cloud- native observability stacks\nCreate and maintain test artifacts (plans, reports, dashboards) and communicate results to stakeholders\nCollaborate with development, SRE and QA teams to interpret results and drive improvements\nParticipate in incident analysis and postmortems where performance regression is suspected\nRequirements:\n4+ years of experience in performance testing\n2+ years of hands-on experience with Gatling (Gatling DSL; Gatling Cloud is a plus)\nHands-on experience with k6, including scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript\nProficiency in Scala or Java for Gatling scripting\nStrong knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs, WebSockets and asynchronous event-driven systems\nUnderstanding of end-to-end performance measures (response time, throughput, latency, error rate) and scalability\nSolid understanding of load patterns, ramp-up strategies and test environments\nExperience testing microservices architectures (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, Istio)\nExperience with APM and monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics), including analysis of JVM-level metrics and logs\nAbility to set up the performance testing process from scratch and plan performance testing activities\nExperience with setting up performance jobs in CI tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins)\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure)\nUpper-Intermediate English or higher\nDesirable:\nExperience with other performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)\nExperience with Grafana Cloud k6 or distributed load generation\nExperience building performance dashboards in Grafana for Gatling/k6 results\nPersonal skills:\nGood analytical skills and strong interest in problem analysis and tuning\nExcellent problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills\nGood team player, motivated to solve complex tasks\nSelf-motivated, self-disciplined and result-oriented\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy\nWhat’s in it for you?\nStrong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment\nGrowth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise\nTailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications\nEndless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies\nFlexibility: Enjoy radical flexibility - work remotely or from an office, your choice\nCare: We’ve got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations\nAbout us:\nAt Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
