ICG includes regional institutional sales teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC-primarily serving pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and endowments-as well as the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), which serves major insurance companies and banks, and Global Consultant Relations (GCR), which works with investment consultants, OCIO providers, and other asset managers.\nICG is seeking an Institutional Client Associate to join the Global Consultant Relations (GCR) team. This role works alongside senior team members, contributes to key fundraising initiatives, and offers direct exposure to some of the world’s largest and most sophisticated institutional investors and intermediaries.\nAs a visible member of a collaborative, high-performing team, the successful candidate will gain hands-on experience, develop critical skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career at a respected and growing investment firm. This position is based at our headquarters in Los Angeles.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPartner with GCR Relationship Managers to build new and strengthen existing relationships with investment consultants, OCIO providers, and asset management firms.\nLearn about the industry, markets, client types, firm products, and narratives.\nSupport fundraising efforts through meeting preparation, follow-up, and coordination of roadshows and client-facing events.\nContribute to a defined sales territory by managing CRM (Salesforce) data, actively overseeing the pipeline, and executing the overall sales strategy.\nUtilize third-party data tools-such as Preqin, eVestment, and WithIntelligence-to gather investor insights and intelligence.\nCompile data and create presentations and other deliverables for internal stakeholders, including updates on fundraising efforts, client feedback, and industry trends.\nCoordinate directly with internal portfolio management, investment, and reporting teams to ensure timely delivery of information requests and client reporting.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)\n0-3 years of experience.\nBachelor’s degree required; a relevant field of study and internship experience are preferred.\n FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required for this role (an existing SIE is a plus). Employment is contingent upon obtaining these licenses within 6 months of hire.
