Specifically, this role is responsible for providing hands-on engineering support across the RNG project lifecycle - from development and detailed design through construction, startup, and transition to operations - while coordinating closely with internal teams, contractors, technology providers, and host facilities.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nProject Engineering & Design SupportSupport the engineering execution of landfill- and biogas-based RNG projects, including gas collection and control systems (GCCS), gas upgrading, compression, interconnection, and balance-of-plant systems.\nReview and coordinate engineering deliverables such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), equipment datasheets, layouts, and utility requirements.\nAssist with technology evaluations and selection for biogas upgrading, gas treatment, compression, and metering systems consistent with Terreva’s platform.\nReview vendor and contractor submittals for technical compliance with project requirements and Terreva engineering standards.\nProject Execution & Construction SupportInterface with Terreva’s development, construction, and operations teams to ensure engineering aligns with project budgets, schedules, and constructability requirements.\nSupport construction activities through RFI responses, field coordination, site visits, and resolution of technical issues.\nTrack engineering deliverables, action items, and changes to support overall project execution.\nParticipate in commissioning, startup, performance testing, and handover of RNG facilities to operations.\nRegulatory, Safety & ComplianceSupport compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing RNG facilities, including environmental permits, pipeline interconnection requirements, and safety standards.\nAssist with hazard analyses, constructability reviews, and quality assurance processes.\nEnsure designs and field execution comply with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, NFPA, DOT, EPA).\nOperations & Asset SupportProvide ongoing technical support to Terreva’s operating RNG facilities, including troubleshooting, optimization, and evaluation of capital improvements.\nAssist with data analysis related to gas quality, throughput, uptime, and overall plant performance.\nSupport standardization and continuous improvement initiatives across Terreva’s RNG portfolio.\nSupport documentation upkeep to include P&ID review and management-of-change reporting of process improvements.\nProvide instrumentation and controls support to third party controls vendors, integrators and site personnel.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n None.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, or a related discipline) required.\n2-5 years of experience in project engineering, process engineering, construction support, or similar roles.\nExperience in RNG, biogas, landfill gas, natural gas, energy infrastructure, or environmental projects strongly preferred.\nExposure to owner-operator or design-build project environments a plus.\nEngineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.\nOSHA safety training or similar construction safety credentials a plus.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nFlexible, independent, self-motivated individual, able to multi-task, and provide leadership to others.\nWorking knowledge of industrial process systems, mechanical equipment, piping, instrumentation, and controls.\nFamiliarity with renewable natural gas, landfill gas, biogas, or natural gas infrastructure projects.\nAbility to read, interpret, and coordinate engineering drawings and technical specifications.\nUnderstanding of construction practices and project delivery models.\nProficiency with engineering and project tools such as AutoCAD, engineering calculation tools, and Microsoft Office.\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.\nClear written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.\nHands-on, problem-solving mindset with a willingness to engage in field-based engineering work.\nAbility to travel to project sites as
