The position offers significant variety, hands-on experience, and opportunities to learn from experienced professionals while contributing your own creativity and fresh perspectives.\nWhat You'll Do\nSupport the development of graphics, layouts, and visual communications for a variety of planning, design, and engagement projects.\nAssist in designing and producing reports, planning documents, presentations, proposals, brochures, display boards, signage, and other print and digital materials.\nCollaborate with our Communications & Engagement team to create materials for public engagement programs, including open houses, workshops, online engagement, and community communications.\nHelp translate technical or complex information into clear, accessible, and visually engaging materials.\nContribute to the development of project branding, visual identities, templates, infographics, diagrams, and other creative assets.\nSupport business development and marketing initiatives, including proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, social media graphics, and promotional materials.\nWork closely with multidisciplinary project teams to develop creative solutions that respond to project objectives, client needs, and audience considerations.\nAssist with projects from initial concept through design development, production, and final delivery, with guidance and support from experienced team members.\nManage assigned tasks and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality, and consistency.\nParticipate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and contribute creative ideas to strengthen our team's visual communications.\n What We're Looking For\nWe are looking for a creative, curious, and detail-oriented designer who is eager to learn, enjoys working with others, and brings strong design fundamentals and a willingness to take on new challenges.\nThe ideal candidate will have:\nA degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline.\nApproximately 1 to 2 years of professional graphic design experience. Recent graduates with exceptional portfolios demonstrating strong creative and technical abilities are also encouraged to apply.\nHigh proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.\nStrong skills in typography, layout, composition, colour, visual hierarchy, and information design.\nFamiliarity with designing materials for both print and digital applications.\nAn interest in translating technical or complex information into clear, engaging graphics and documents.\nStrong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and high-quality work.\nGood organizational and time-management skills, with an ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with an interest in collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team.\nA positive attitude, creative curiosity, and a willingness to receive feedback, develop new skills, and contribute ideas.\nA portfolio demonstrating creativity, design fundamentals, and technical abilities.
