You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience by being exposed to many aspects of road safety, including Vision Zero planning, road safety data collection and processing, network screening, roadway and railway safety reviews, research and literature reviews, and public and stakeholder consultation.\nCIMA+ provides the opportunity to work with recognized senior professionals in the transportation field to learn and advance in your profession. Ongoing training is offered to allow you to continually upgrade your skills.\nThe opening is available in any of our southern Ontario offices - Burlington, Kitchener, Mississauga, Toronto, Guelph, London, Bowmanville or Ottawa.\nResponsibilities\nWork closely with senior technical staff to develop high-quality and technically accurate end products,\nConduct site visits, field observations and field measurements,\nConduct data collection and processing in support of road safety initiatives,\nCommunicate with Clients and other team members,\nUndertake research and literature reviews in concurrence with various projects,\nConduct statistical analysis in support of road safety modelling,\nConduct public and stakeholder engagement,\nPrepare Technical Reports, proposals, and presentations, and\nOther duties as assigned.\n 5+ years of progressive experience in Road Safety.\n4-year Civil Engineering degree \nProfessional Engineering (PEO) \nKnowledge of OTM Books, TAC/MTO Design Guides, MUTCDC, HCM, HTA.\nProficient with traffic analysis software (Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS).\nProficient in the use of MS Office Suite of products.\nValid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle are assets.\nHighly motivated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.\nDetail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.\nAbility to work independently and prioritize a variety of tasks and have the attitude that client service is top priority.\nProficient technical writer capable of documenting/explaining road safety and traffic observations, findings, and recommendations.\nExceptional organizational and time-management skills.\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nIntegrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence \nAt CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
