Together, we’ll push boundaries and go above what’s expected of us to meet the challenges of tomorrow and engineer a better world!\nWe are looking for a Senior Municipal Project Manager to support our growing municipal and transportation practice in the GTA, including municipal road and intersection design, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, watermains and drainage works projects. Responsibilities will also include the oversight of the design team to ensure projects are delivered to our rigorous quality standards on time and on budget.\nCIMA+ has a hybrid model, with the expectation to be in the Bowmanville, ON office 2 days /week or more.\nPrimary responsibilities:\nLead and manage project teams through all phases of conceptual and detailed design of municipal civil projects including rural and urban roads rehabilitations, reconstructions and widenings, sewers, watermains, drainage improvements, etc. \nManage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA+ to meet client expectations. \nPrepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates, and construction documents. \nLead and assist in the pursuit of new projects, including the development of technical scope workplans, schedule, project team organization, and task-level budgets. \nBuild relationships with existing and potential clients; liase with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders and contractors. \nCoordinate and mentor intermediate and junior staff on fundamentals of design, project delivery and general project management skills.\n Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in municipal design projects. \nP.Eng. designation in Ontario (or eligibility for transfer). \nSpecific experience with municipal infrastructure and road design is a requirement. \nPrevious experience managing municipal projects. \nStrong ability to interpret engineering drawings and documents, e.g. plans and profiles, specifications, etc. \nAbility to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time in order to deliver on time and within budget. \nStrong working knowledge of Civil3D or Bentley InRoads, as well as of various software packages (Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets). \nHighly meticulous nature, strong attention to detail. \nIntegrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence \nAt CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
