This position could be based out of our Guelph, Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, London or Bowmanville offices.\nThe ideal candidate will have substantial experience with:\nPAC/PLC/RPU/RTU/DCS programming across various platforms, including, Schneider Modicon, Allen-Bradley, and GE.\nRTACs and Data Concentrators across various platforms including SEL and NovaTech.\nExperience with SCADA/HMI programming on platforms such as Inductive Automation Ignition (Perspective & Vision), Wonderware InTouch, GE Proficy iFix, VTscada.\nValuable project experience includes applications in Solar PV, Wind Generation, BESS systems, Energy Management Systems, and Battery Management Systems.\nUnderstanding/experience with NERC CIP compliance requirements for low, medium, high impact levels and how that affects a Control System.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop client/server communication strategies using industry standard protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, OPC-UA, IEC61850, mirrored bits.\nPerform PLC, RTAC, RTU and SCADA programming, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), site startup, commissioning, training, troubleshooting, and provide ongoing support.\nInterpret control system schematics and develop Process Control Narratives and I/O Lists.\nPrepare I/O lists and tag summaries based on vendor equipment cut-sheets\nContribute to system integration projects and collaborate closely with the team to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction.\n More than 3 years of experience in System Integration and SCADA development/programming.\nProficiency in PAC/PLC/RPU/RTU/DCS programming.\nProficiency in SCADA/HMI programming including web based user interface development\nProficiency in RTAC/Data concentrator programming.\nProficiency in IEC61131 programming standards\nPeripheral project experience includes exposure to ADMS or DERMS platforms and distributed power generation systems.\nPeripheral skills include networking experience (modify/adjust Layer 3 switches), expansion of existing managed networks following established design guidelines, modification of firewalls/security appliances, modification and management of virtualized servers such as ESXi or HyperV\nExperience with Python and a basic understanding of RDBMS development (MySQL, SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services)\nEducational background in Control Systems, Engineering/Technology, or Computer Programming.\nStrong command of English, both written and verbal.\nAbility to complete tasks efficiently and independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nOffice setting as well as site visits to client facilities as required which can at times require hard hats, safety boots, and other personal protective equipment.\nSome travel is required.\nValid Drivers license and access to reliable transportation.\n At CIMA+, we recognize the richness and diversity of each individual’s experience.
