This role is perfect for someone who enjoys caring for residents during the quiet overnight hours while also supporting our community through meal preparation and cooking.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIn this dual-role position, you will support both resident care and kitchen operations during the NOC shift, including:\nProviding compassionate caregiving and assistance to residents throughout the night\nProvide compassionate, respectful assistance with daily living activities while promoting resident dignity and independence.\nSupport residents with personal care needs, mobility, and comfort in a safe and caring manner.\nObserve and report changes in residents’ condition to the wellness team promptly.\nFollow care plans, safety guidelines, and company policies to ensure high-quality resident care.\nMonitoring residents’ safety and responding calmly to overnight needs or emergencies\nPreparing food during downtime to support the following day’s meals\nPrepping meals and ingredients for the next day’s kitchen team\nCooking and serving breakfast for residents in the morning\nMaintaining cleanliness and following all food safety, sanitation, and safety protocols\nCommunicating clearly with the daytime team to ensure smooth transitions of care and kitchen operations\n Completes other duties as assigned in support of quality care\nWhat We’re Looking For\nA caring, patient, and dependable team member with a genuine interest in older adults\nPrevious caregiving and/or cooking experience preferred (but not required for the right candidate)\nAbility to work independently and stay organized during overnight hours\nStrong attention to safety, cleanliness, and resident comfort\nAbility to remain calm, kind, and professional\nApply today!\nRequirements\nEducation Required: None Preferred: \nOther Each employee must have a physical examination and tuberculin test performed by a physician. \nThe tests are to be completed (with results) within seven (7) days after hire (unless regulations stipulate completion before employment.) If the exams are not completed within this time, the employee will be placed on suspension until they are completed. The Department of Social Services (DSS) licensing agency requires that fingerprint cards and an affidavit on criminal convictions be submitted for the purpose of conducting a criminal record review. The DSS will issue an approval or denial according to the criminal clearance reports.
