The CTS and ALPS teams work closely together to build, test, and deliver automated inspection equipment.\nWe are looking for an Assembly Test Technician to join our Assembly team. In this role, you will help build complete ALPS machines and support the equipment through power-up, testing, troubleshooting, and final debug.\nThis is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with automated equipment, solving problems, and seeing a machine come together from build through successful operation.\nWhat You'll Do\nHelp build and assemble complete automated inspection machines.\nWork from electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, blueprints, bills of material, and other technical documentation.\nPerform first-time machine power-up and startup.\nComplete electrical device and I/O checkout.\nPerform mechanical and pneumatic system checkout.\nLoad existing machine and controls programs developed by the ALPS Engineering team.\nPerform machine setup, functional testing, and final checkout.\nTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and controls-related issues during startup and testing.\nWork closely with ALPS engineers to identify problems and implement adjustments or corrections.\nPartner with the Project Manager and Assembly team to keep machine builds moving toward project deadlines.\nDocument test results, issues, and changes as needed.\nMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHands-on experience building, testing, servicing, or troubleshooting automated machinery or industrial equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.\nFamiliarity with sensors, motors, I/O devices, pneumatics, and other components used in automated equipment.\nExperience working with PLC/HMI-controlled equipment is preferred.\nComfortable using computers to load programs and assist with machine startup and setup.\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues in a logical, systematic way.\nAbility to communicate effectively and work closely with Assembly, Engineering, and Project Management.\nSelf-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working toward project deadlines.\nWillingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new
