On a small team, your work doesn't disappear into a pipeline. It ships. Players use it. It matters.\nFreelance Roblox UI Designer\nAre you an experienced Roblox UI Designer working as a freelancer or contractor globally?\nWe'd still love to hear from you, even if you are not UK based.\nWhen applying, please include your hourly rate or day rate along with your portfolio.\nIf your experience matches what we're looking for, we may get in touch as soon as a suitable opportunity becomes available.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign high quality user interfaces for Roblox games\n\nCreate polished menus, HUDs, inventories, shops and gameplay interfaces\n\nProduce layered production ready UI assets\n\nHelp establish the visual identity of our games\n\nWork closely with programmers, designers and artists throughout development\n\nIterate on interfaces through testing and player feedback\n\nTake ownership from concept through implementation\n\nContribute ideas that improve the player experience\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong experience designing user interfaces for games\n\nExceptional artistic judgement and visual design skills\n\nExcellent understanding of composition, typography, colour, hierarchy and readability\n\nExperience creating layered production ready UI assets using Photoshop or equivalent software\n\nStrong understanding of player experience and usability\n\nAbility to work independently and take ownership\n\nStrong communication skills\n\nExcellent attention to detail\n\nA portfolio demonstrating high quality game UI\n\nBased in the United Kingdom with the right to work in the UK\n\nYou do not need professional Roblox experience. You do need to be familiar with Roblox Studio before applying. We expect every candidate to download the software, spend time learning the fundamentals and understand the basics of the engine before entering our recruitment process. Roblox Studio is free and straightforward to learn. We do not provide training on the fundamentals.\n\nArtistic Judgement Matters\nTechnical ability is important.\nArtistic judgement is what separates good UI from unforgettable UI.\nMany designers can create a functional inventory.\nFar fewer can create an interface that immediately feels right for the game. One that communicates information effortlessly and strengthens every interaction the player has.\nWe're looking for designers who understand that memorable interfaces come from strong creative decisions.
