These include but are not limited to goods valuation, goods classification, country of origin, Trade Agreements and record keeping.\nPartner with stakeholders including legal, tax and accounting to drive maintenance of customs valuation-related programs such as value reconciliation and CARM.\nWork directly with Freight Forwarders, Customs officers, Customs Brokers, and internal and external customers on all matters pertaining to Customs and Import/Export regulations.\nEstablish and oversee internal audit processes for accurate classifications, Free Trade Agreements, and valuation claims.\nReview and monitor product HTS tariff classifications and monitor updates and changes applicable to these schedules in accordance with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and applicable laws and regulations.\nUtilize ACE reporting to facilitate audits for import and export adherence.\nProvide continuous training to all departments subjected to import/export compliance.\nSkills/Qualifications\nRequired\nThis position requires working onsite in Mason, Ohio, five (5) days per week.\n6+ years of import/export experience\n3+ years of supervisory or management experience\nExperience working with U.S. trade regulatory agencies, including US customs and Border protection, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and other participating Government Agencies.\nAbility to interpret and apply trade laws and regulations as they relate to everyday situations.\nProficient with Microsoft Office suite\nExperience presenting to and interacting with Senior Leadership\nAbility to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships\nPreferred\nBachelor’s degree in accounting/Finance, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.\nIndustry certifications or Customs Brokerage License\nProficient with SAP and Global Trade Management Systems\nBenefits\nCintas offers comprehensive and competitive medical, dental and vision benefits, with premiums below the national average.
