This role involves the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions, including the integration of third-party components, the enhancement of existing codebases, and the automation of O&M tasks. Candidates must have experience in large-scale application deployment and analytics-driven development, as well as an active Top Secret clearance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, test, and manage custom software solutions in support of IT infrastructure and mission needs.\nIntegrate third-party components and develop new custom capabilities to extend functionality.\nModify and maintain existing codebases to improve performance, usability, and security.\nIdentify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities for operational efficiency.\nDevelop and implement technical solutions based on direction from lead architects, including complex data processing, statistical modeling, and advanced analytics.\nParticipate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and QA.\nSupport technical activities such as project milestone reviews, architecture discussions, and best practices knowledge sharing.\nProvide resource estimation for development efforts and contribute to project planning.\nDocument solutions and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with technical teams.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nMinimum of 6 years of professional software engineering experience.\nExperience with: Java, C, C#, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, backend, React, Microservices, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Postgres\nProficient in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.\nExperience in integrating APIs, third-party libraries, and legacy systems.\nStrong background in application design, architecture, and deployment.\nFamiliarity with large-scale data processing, analytics, and/or statistical modeling tools.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD practices, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing.\nExcellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nActive Top Secret clearance required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in government or secure environments.\nFamiliarity with DevSecOps principles and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).\nExperience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).\nKnowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nABOUT CINTEL, INC:\nCintel Inc. is a Small Business providing strategies and services to support an array of Government clients in Software Development, Operational/Tactical and Installation/Facilities Energy, Cyber Security, Modeling and Simulation, Data Science, and Programmatic support.\nWe offer our clients nimble, unique, and value focused solutions with an emphasis on people, connectivity, communication, and teamwork.
