Join us in shaping a world where public money truly makes a difference. \nAbout the Role \nWe're looking for an experienced public sector professional with a strong background in training delivery to play a key role in shaping and delivering CIPFA's learning offer.\nCombining subject matter expertise with excellent facilitation skills, you will develop both new and existing training programmes, and deliver engaging, high-impact learning experiences that meet the needs of public finance professionals.\nYou will use market intelligence, customer insight and emerging trends to identify opportunities for innovation and develop new products and services that contribute to the growth of CIPFA's commercial training portfolio.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nCourse Development and Maintenance\nLead the review and updating of existing training programmes, ensuring content remains current, accurate and aligned with policy, regulation and best practice.\n\nImprove course materials based on learner feedback, market intelligence and sector developments.\n\nContribute to quality assurance processes to maintain high standards across training provision.\n\nNew Product Development and Commercial Growth\nIdentify opportunities for new courses and programmes based on market demand, client feedback and emerging public sector priorities.\n\nDesign and develop new training products that support CIPFA’s commercial growth and meet sector needs.\n\nWork with internal teams to ensure new products are commercially viable and client focused.\n\nClient-Focused and Bespoke Training\nWork with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored training solutions and materials.\n\nDeliver practical, relevant and impactful in-house training aligned with client objectives.\n\nTraining Delivery\nDeliver high-quality, engaging training across online and face-to-face formats.\n\nAdapt delivery to different audiences to provide an inclusive and effective learning experience.\n\nUse relevant public sector examples to support the practical application of learning.\n\nWhere timetabling allows, teach modules within CIPFA’s Professional Accountancy Qualification through the Education and Training Centre.\n\nE-Learning Development\nSupport the design, development, review and updating of engaging and accessible digital and e-learning content.\n\nOur Employee Offer\nIn exchange for helping us to make a difference we offer:\nReward - Giving you fair pay and generous benefits, which includes completive salary, generous pension scheme, holiday scheme, family friendly benefits and more!\n\nWellbeing - Empowering you to work flexibly, balancing your personal and professional live through our permanent 4-day working week (work 4 days, get paid for 5) and hybrid working, alongside with a range of health benefits, such as access to an Employee Assistance Helpline and the opportunity to join our Health Cash Plan.\n\nPurpose - Connecting the work you do with its social value and impact through paid volunteering days and charity and community work.\n\nGrowth - Enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge through access to training opportunities, paid professional membership subscriptions, and career break options.\n\nCulture - Our culture is one of respect.
