You will work on backend systems, automation, and data processing solutions. The role involves developing robust scripts, maintaining existing systems, migration and optimizing data workflows in a production environment.\nWe are searching for a self-motivated individual with a passion for enhancing and optimizing technical solutions not only in Python, also in Shell language in Linux environment.\nJob Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain and optimize Python and Linux shell scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.\nBuild automated pipelines and reusable code modules to support recurring reporting and analytics workloads.\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of datasets.\nConduct peer code reviews, optimize execution performance, and apply best-practice coding standards.\nPerform debugging, data validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure reliability of data flows.\nCollaborate with cross-functional and international teams to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to simplify existing processes using automation.\nRequirements\n3-5 years of hands-on experience working with Python and Shell scripting. \nStrong proficiency with Python and Linux scripting (including awk script)\nExperience with ETL development, data validation, and data integration. \nGood understanding of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL). \nAbility to debug complex data pipelines and optimize performance. \nStrong communication and documentation skills. \nStrong Linux/Unix background. \nStrong Windows/Microsoft Office knowledge. \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field. \nGood/very good knowledge of English. \nNice to have Qualifications\nExperience with SAS/WPS. \nExperience with Perl. \nExperience with Apache Airflow. \nExposure to version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, or job scheduling platforms. \nExperience in CPG, retail analytics, or large-scale market measurement environments. \nCircana Behaviors\nAs well as the technical skills, experience and attributes that are required for the role, our shared behaviors sit at the core of our organization.
