By joining us you become part of a global family, whose ambition is to become the world’s preferred destination for convenience and mobility.\nCircle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for:\nAccountant\nType of Employment: Permanent\nLocation: Riga, Latvia\nVisa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nEnsure accurate and timely accounting and reporting in accordance to Group deadlines and guidelines for business units on monthly, quarterly and year end basis;\nManage operational issues, resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities faced in accounting and reporting area;\nEnsure close dialogue with Business units in Europe and North America;\nSupport internal and external audits for business units.\nQualities that would help you to perform in this position:\nUniversity degree with Accounting specialization is preferred;\nSolid experience (3+ years) in accounting within an international work environment;\nStrong analytical and accounting skills;\nExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process will be considered as an advantage;\nAbility to work in a changing environment;\nGood computer skills and general accounting system background.
