Let's grow together!\nClaims Customer service agent\nDepartment: Accounting\nLocation: On site, Distribution Center, 5540, rue Ernest-Cormier, Laval (Québec) H7C 2T1\nType of employment: Permanent, Full Time (37,5 hours)\nTHE ROLE\nReporting to the Claims Manager, the Agent acts as the first point of contact for operators and customers in all matters related to insurance claims. The Agent handles bodily injury claims, claims following a damage to the company property/buildings or third-party property damages as well as car fleet claims.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nWant to start your career with us? Here's an overview of the main responsibilities of this position:\nAct as a contact person for operators in the event of a bodily injury claims, damage to the company property/building, third-party property damages as well as car fleet claims;\nCoordinate claim files according to established protocols (e.g. billing and/or reimbursement);\nFollow up with operations, clients and insurer and/or claims adjuster;\nHandle telephone complaints related to customer service claims;\nSynthesize the documents necessary for the production of various statistical reports;\nAnswer calls and emails;\nProvide administrative support to the Insurance and Claims department;\nIntervene and deal with the various parties involved.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nWe want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:\nEducation:\nDEC in secretary or administration.\nExperience:\nMinimum of 1 year of relevant experience in customer service (telephone);\nExperience in administrative support (asset);\nExperience in the insurance industry and in the management of claims files and knowledge of Report Excel will be considered an asset;\nKnowledge and skills:\nExcellent command of the Office suite;\nRigor, organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;\nDiplomacy, autonomy;\nStrong aptitude for customer service and negotiation.\n Language skills\nBilingualism required (Advanced French and English) both spoken and written, as the person will be required to work and communicate regularly in English while performing the tasks outlined above.
