By joining us, you become part of a global family, whose ambition is to become the world’s preferred destination for convenience and fuel.\nCome grow with us!\nCircle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player, who would like to join our team as:\nFinancial Controller - R2R\nType of Employment: Permanent\nLocation: Riga, Latvia\nVisa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nPrepare monthly management reporting, including variance analysis against the business plan and performance commentary (OPEX, CAPEX, KPIs, etc.).\nEnsure the accuracy and completeness of P&L reporting and drive corrective actions when needed, including accruals, adjustments and reclassifications.\nParticipate in the Business Plan process and facilitate the preparation of the OPEX budget.\nPartner with the local FP&A team to provide relevant and timely financial information to key stakeholders across the Business Units and corporate teams.\nUnderstand accounting impacts within areas of responsibility and assess their potential effect on financial performance.\nContinuously identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability and integrity of management reporting processes and deliverables.\nParticipate in projects, perform ad hoc analysis and support other tasks as required.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation.\nWHAT YOU'LL NEED\nSolid experience (2+ years) in Controlling, Accounting, Audit or similar field, preferably within an international work environment.\nDegree in economics, finance, accounting, mathematics or a similar field. Specialization in Accounting is an advantage.\nGood computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel, and general understanding of ERP & SAP systems.\nAccuracy and a detail-oriented mindset.\nCuriosity and an inquisitive mindset towards generated results.\nAutonomy and the ability to work with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work effectively within tight deadlines.\nStrong communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex financial concepts in a simple and meaningful way.\nFluency in English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with colleagues across Europe and America.\nKnowledge of French/Dutch/German would be considered an advantage, to communicate with Business Units.\nACCA certificate or ongoing ACCA studies is an advantage.\nWHY WORK WITH US\nFor 6 years in a row, Circle K Business Centre has been awarded 1st place in the ‘CV-Online TOP Employer -
