Let's grow together!\nMaintenance Technician\nDepartment: Facilities & Construction\nLocation: Calgary and Surrounding Areas, AB (#400, 229 - 33rd Street NE Calgary, Alberta T2A 4Y6)\nType of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)\nTHE ROLE:\nWe are currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join our Western Canada Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Technician will maintain store operations. In this role you will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance primarily on Frozen Beverage Equipment, repairing Convenience Store equipment and general maintenance work in stores.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nExcited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role:\n(Primary daily function) Perform Preventative Maintenance on Frozen Beverage units.\nMaintains equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance.\nMaintains facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, lighting work.\nMaintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.\nEnsures preventative repairs are performed cost effectively by examining records, reports operating practices and other documentation.\nParticipate in training classes for existing and new equipment.\nEnsures maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operation policies and procedures.\nContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.\nMaintains safe and healthy work environment by abiding to safety policies and procedures; ensuring compliance with federal, state and local requirements.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED:\nWe want you to join our team!
