The Finance & Tax specialist will be responsible for executing financial operations, compliance, and related SOPs in line with the business objectives.\nAbout the role\nThe Specialist Finance specialist will also be responsible for managing Income tax, GST, legal and other tax related compliance for the GCC and managing procurement and overall vendor relationship\nRoles & Responsibilities\nOperational Excellence\nProcessing of AP & AR invoices and support payroll functioning and sourcing of payroll data for audit\nPreparing financial reports, prepare the month-end and year end manual entries as well as reports and reconciliations.\nMaintaining secondary ledger (IGAAP) and coordinating with statutory auditors\nPreparation of group reporting templates (IFRS) on monthly/ quarterly basis\nPreparation and maintenance and furnishing of any details as may be called for with respect to tax audit and assessment procedures as may be required.\nManage tax payments and monthly/yearly return filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-2 and GSTR-3)\nCollating information and support for preparing responses for GST assessment.\nSupport in GST refund working and collating required information and Invoices.\nSupport in Filing of Annual return (Form 11)\nSupport in Filing of Statement of Accounts (Form 8)\nSupport any other filing requirements with MCA\nPreparing and communicating periodic banking activity and reports\nCoordinating with bank for inward and outward remittances\nSupport sourcing and contract activities\nMonthly account reconciliation with Vendors and customers\nSupplier enablement including vendor onboarding, managing suppliers, invoice integration.\nPreparation of monthly and quarterly account reconciliations through Blackline portal and performance key controls as applicable.\nMaintaining the original purchase invoice files, PO and GRN data.\nMaintaining repository for certificates, documentations, annual filings, government documents, returns including GST, Income Tax etc., Challan for government payments and all other official records\nGovernance and Compliance\nEnsure effective governance and compliance with finance and tax regulations\nStakeholder Management\nEffectively communicate and manage strong relationships with internal cross functional and regional teams for better coordination.\nKnowledge\nFamiliarity with statutory frameworks such as IGAAP, IFRS, Companies Act, Income tax and GST regulations\nKnowledge of accounting concepts, bookkeeping, tax accounting etc.\nFamiliarity with JDE is a plus\nExperience\n4+ years of relevant work experience working across finance operations (P2P, O2C, R2R), Tax, GST.\nBehavioural Skills\nStrong analytical skills\nAttention to detail\nStrong collaboration and communication skills\nEducation\nM.COM/MBA + B.COM or equivalent degree or Semi qualified CA (not pursuing the CA course
