You'll work with our Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, and Track & Trace teams to design data solutions that make information more accessible and actionable across the organization. With guidance from our experienced team, you'll develop practical skills in data engineering while making a real impact on our business.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign and develop data pipelines and ETL workflows that extract, transform, and load freight and logistics data into our systems\nBuild data integration solutions that connect our TransportPro TMS platform with other business tools and data sources\nWrite clean, maintainable SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, analyze, and prepare data for reporting and analytics\nCreate and maintain data quality checks and monitoring tools to ensure accuracy and reliability of operational data\nCollaborate with Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, and Track & Trace teams to understand their data needs and translate requirements into technical solutions\nSupport the development of foundational analytics and reporting that help teams make better decisions\nDocument data pipelines, workflows, and processes clearly so that others can understand and maintain your work\nTroubleshoot data issues and work with the team to resolve problems that impact data reliability\nLearn and apply version control best practices using Git and collaborative development workflows\nStay curious about emerging data technologies and best practices in data engineering to continuously improve your skills\n What You'll Build\nData pipelines and ETL workflows that extract, transform, and load freight and logistics data into our systems\nData integration solutions that connect our TransportPro TMS platform with other business tools and data sources\nData quality and monitoring tools that ensure accuracy and reliability of operational data\nFoundational analytics and reporting that support decision-making across Sales, Account Management, and Track & Trace teams\n What We're Looking For\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)\nStrong foundational Python skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable code\nSolid understanding of SQL and experience querying relational databases for data extraction and analysis\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and basic data integration concepts\nExperience with or strong interest in learning ETL tools and data pipeline frameworks\nProficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices\nAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when working with data\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document processes and explain technical concepts clearly\nEagerness to learn emerging data technologies and best practices in data engineering\nFreight, logistics, or supply chain industry experience is a plus;
