DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Psychiatry board-certified MDs and DOs to serve as Supervising Physicians (SP’s) for our psychiatry-certified advanced practice practitioners (APPs) in Florida.

SP’s collaborate mostly asynchronously with their assigned delegates to conduct patient chart reviews, delegate prescriptive authority, etc. Furthermore, the SP must fulfill any federal/state/payor-specific requirements as a supervisor such as attendance in monthly meetings, etc.

The role requires confidence in clinical decision-making while adhering to evidence-based clinical guidelines. Our in-house electronic health record (EHR) makes documentation and chart review easy.

Pay is based on the number of delegates the Psychiatrist supervises. Malpractice with tail is also provided. The number of hours dedicated to this role will vary based on the number of delegates assigned at any given time.

Supervision will require a full, unrestricted DEA in FL and CA.

A PC with Windows PRO or a Mac newer than 2019 is required

    • Provide constructive feedback to your delegates regarding patient care and charting
    • Guide your delegates on an as-needed basis if they have any clinical concerns or questions
    • Voice clinical or other professional concerns related to your delegates to Circle Medical Clinical Leadership on a case-by-case basis as they arise
    • Perform clinical note reviews on at least 5% of your delegates’ clinical notes monthly
    • Meet with your delegates via video or telephone conferencing at least once monthly (can be a group meeting, does not need to be 1:1), more frequently if required by local state or other authorities, and SPs create a written record of the occurrence and attendance of the meetings
    • Supply prompt responses to credentialing and enrollment requests from Circle Medical administration
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

    Required Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
