We have built a flexible work environment where new ideas are encouraged and everyone is a stakeholder.\nWhat you'll be responsible for:\nYou will support Circle’s Internal Audit function by planning and delivering technology and integrated audits over financial, operational, and compliance controls for Circle and its subsidiaries, including Circle National Trust. You will lead audit projects from strategic planning and scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and remediation tracking while collaborating closely with 1st- and 2nd-line risk functions to maintain an accurate risk profile. You will also develop and promote the use of generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to streamline audit workflows and improve testing efficiency.\nWhat you'll work on:\nDeveloping and enhancing internal audit frameworks, methodologies, and assurance processes for technology audits\nConducting risk-based technology, systems, and operational audits to assess compliance and controls\nConducting effective client interviews and documentation reviews to inform scoping and testing\nAnalyzing process and system documentation to evaluate control design and operating effectiveness\nDesigning and executing fieldwork testing strategies, including substantive tests and clear working papers\nEvaluating control deficiencies, identifying root causes, and recommending remediation and control rationalization, including automation and generative AI where appropriate\nCollaborating with management and 1st/2nd-line risk functions to present findings, track corrective actions, and support control implementation\nWhat you'll bring to Circle:\nCore Requirements\n4+ years of auditing experience, including public accounting or internal audit in financial services, payments, or technology\nKnowledge of banking requirements and their applicability to IT controls and compliance\nStrong understanding of audit principles, risk assessment, audit documentation, IT general controls (ITGCs), and SOX compliance\nExperience auditing cloud-native environments and knowledge of cloud control frameworks\nUnderstanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency risks as they relate to control environments\nAbility to analyze complex information, develop practical testing strategies, and work independently to meet deadlines\nFamiliarity with generative AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) and prompt development\nPreferred Requirements\nCISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification\nExperience with AuditBoard or other audit management tools\nExperience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite\nCircle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core.
