You will develop and operate the shared platform that powers multi-chain transaction construction, account access, indexing, and transaction notifications. Working with engineering and product teams around the world, you will transform evolving blockchain technologies into secure, reliable, and reusable capabilities that accelerate product development across Circle.\nWhat you'll work on:\nBuild and maintain backend services supporting Circle products across 40+ blockchain networks.\n\nDevelop reusable blockchain capabilities that make it easier for engineering teams around the world to integrate blockchain functionality into Circle products.\n\nResearch and evaluate blockchain protocols and technologies to support reliable cross-chain solutions.\n\nBuild well-tested, production-quality systems with a strong focus on correctness, security, observability, and reliability.\n\nMonitor and continuously improve the availability, latency, scalability, and performance of blockchain infrastructure.\n\nWhat you'll bring to Circle:\nCore Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n0-4+ years of backend software development experience, ideally using Golang or a similar programming language.\n\nUnderstanding of RESTful API design and development principles and experience working with SQL databases and schema design.\n\nExperience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, as well as Kubernetes and Docker.\n\nStrong focus on correctness, security, testing, observability, and reliability when developing production-quality software.\n\nWritten and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese are required.\n\nPreferred Requirements\nExperience designing and deploying scalable, production-quality software and supporting systems in production environments.\n\nUnderstanding of blockchain fundamentals and an interest in learning new protocols and tools.\n\nExperience with Solidity, Rust, or Move for smart contract or blockchain development.\n\nExperience using AI tools for coding, testing, and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience collaborating effectively with globally distributed teams.\n\nCircle is on a mission to create an inclusive financial future, with transparency at our core.
