The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.\nWe have an opportunity for an Production Manager to join their team of staff in the Decontamination department.\nThis is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.\nDuties of this role include:\nYou lead the day-to-day operation of the decontamination unit, ensuring sterile instrumentation and flexible endoscopes are processed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. \nYou plan and coordinate production activity, staffing and resources to meet customer demand, turnaround requirements and agreed service levels.\nYou provide visible day-to-day leadership to Supervisors, Team Leaders, Technicians, Trainee Technicians, Drivers, Trainers and Administrators, ensuring colleagues understand their responsibilities and performance expectations.\nYou provide visible leadership on quality and ensure decontamination activities operate in accordance with the unit’s electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) and applicable standards and requirements. \nYou support the maintenance of relevant quality.\nYou build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, consultants, clinical users and other customers, ensuring their requirements are understood and services remain responsive to operational and clinical needs.\nYou support effective management of the unit’s operational budget, consumable expenditure, payroll and other costs within agreed financial limits.\nApplicants should meet the following criteria:\nProven experience working within a Sterile Services Department (SSD), medical device decontamination and/or endoscopy decontamination environment. \nStrong operational knowledge of sterile services processes, equipment and decontamination workflows. \nWorking knowledge of surgical instrumentation and associated tracking and traceability systems. \nExperience of leading, supervising or managing operational teams within a decontamination or comparable regulated environment. \nExperience working with quality management systems and undertaking audits or compliance checks. \nKnowledge of relevant decontamination quality and regulatory requirements. \nStrong people management, coaching and performance management capability. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nGood IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. \nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational priorities and deadlines. \nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider management team. \nFlexibility to work across shift patterns, including weekends, Bank Holidays and unsocial hours according to operational requirements.\nSalary & Benefits\nCircle Health Group is committed to offering competitive starting salaries and access to a wide range of employee benefits, including:\n25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service\nPrivate Pension Scheme\nPrivate Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals, covering pre-existing medical conditions\nFriends & Family Hospital Discounts\nFamily Friendly policies, including enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption pay\nNon-contributory life insurance\nStaff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefits\nAccess to resources, tools and services to support your wellbeing\nEmployee recognition programmes\nIndustry leading training and development opportunities\n…and much more!\nCircle Health Group is committed to creating a diverse workforce offering inclusive opportunities for all our colleagues.
