The unit operates 24 hours a day/7 days a week with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.\nWe have an opportunity for a Supervisor to join their team of staff.\nThis is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.\nDuties of this role include: \nYou supervise the day-to-day delivery of a first-class decontamination service to hospitals, Endoscopy units and relevant clinical departments.\nYou coordinate production activity and allocate work across the shift to ensure customer requirements, turnaround times and operational priorities are achieved.\nYou provide effective leadership and supervision to colleagues across sterile services and Endoscopy, ensuring individuals understand their responsibilities and expected standards.\nYou ensure all decontamination processes are followed as directed by the Decontamination Manager, Production Managers and Quality Lead and in accordance with approved policies, procedures and the quality management system.\nYou identify and respond to issues involving equipment, instrumentation, endoscopes or production processes, taking appropriate immediate action to maintain safety and service continuity.\nYou maintain effective communication with customer hospitals, clinical departments and internal colleagues to support a responsive and reliable service.\nApplicants should meet the following criteria: \nYou have proven experience of working in a sterile services unit and Endoscopy decontamination unit.\nKnowledge of track and trace systems - electronic and manual.\nExperience of undertaking internal audits.\nEffective leadership and managerial skills.\nEvidence of training in decontamination.\nInstitute of Decontamination Certificate (IDSc) or NVQ Level 3 Decontamination.\nAbility to work under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines.\nPositive ‘can do’ attitude.\nSalary & Benefits\nCircle Health Group is committed to offering competitive starting salaries and access to a wide range of employee benefits, including:\n25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service\nPrivate Pension Scheme\nPrivate Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals, covering pre-existing medical conditions\nFriends & Family Hospital Discounts\nFamily Friendly policies, including enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption pay\nNon-contributory life insurance\nStaff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefits\nAccess to resources, tools and services to support your wellbeing\nEmployee recognition programmes\nIndustry leading training and development opportunities\n…and much more!\nCircle Health Group is committed to creating a diverse workforce offering inclusive opportunities for all our colleagues.
